By now, I’m sure many (if not all) of you know something about the year 2012. According to the Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012 is reportedly the end of the current “cycle” or “age”.

Not the end of the world, per say, just the start of another period of time.

Sounds simple enough, huh?

Well in a perfect world, yes. But the problem is, this isn’t a perfect world. People of all stripes, faiths, and beliefs have something I like to call “imagination”. This imagination tends to run a bit wild sometimes.

The hysteria surrounding 2012 is a perfect example of this.

The truth is that something will indeed be happening in 2012. The Earth will pass across the “galactic equator”, moving into the “northern hemisphere” in relation to the galactic core. I’m not sure if that requires everyone to get a piercing or a tattoo, like sailors who have crossed the Earth’s equator or not.

Now, no one is really sure what that means. Will it cause massive earthquakes, floods, and general mayhem? Will cats and dogs turn on their masters? Will the Chicago Cubs win the World Series? Or will absolutely nothing happen?

No one knows.

But, of course, that hasn’t kept the hysteria away. Movies are being made, depicting vast destruction and apocalyptic mayhem. People are fixating on 2012. Even Christians, sad to say, and they have the Holy Bible. You know, that book that has already told you the end from the beginning.

Unfortunately, I’ve read some Christians speculating that Satan is behind the 2012 stuff, as if he might “know” something we don’t in regards to when the Father will tell the Son to go retrieve His Bride. Satan has no more of an idea when the Rapture will occur than you or I.

Only God knows the time.

We can know the season – which is certainly now. But no one knows the day nor the hour.

To believe Satan is “in the know” would mean that he has been in the known for hundreds of years to have influenced the Mayans to come up with the date of December 21, 2012.

Please remember three things regarding December 21, 2012:

1. The Mayans were a heathen culture. They had no access to the one True God and had no special knowledge of future events. To give their “doomsday” calculation some kind of divine influence means you are going all extra-biblical on us, and that’s a no-no.
2. Satan doesn’t know when the Rapture will occur. This fascination with the Mayan “doomsday” prediction is merely proof that his seeds have long ago taken root and people are searching everywhere but the Bible for truth.
3. And finally, if the Mayans knew the date for the end of the world, why didn’t or couldn’t they know when they were going to go the way of the Dodo? We are to believe they saw the future but couldn’t see their own demise? Me thinks we’re giving them a little too much credit here.

Now, that said, I believe we are very close to the Rapture. Events in the world and the lining up of Tribulation nations is making that abundantly clear.

Could God use the year 2012 to do something? Absolutely.

But do I believe that the Mayans have anything to do with it? No. I don’t know what will happen when we cross that magical galactic equator. Gravitational forces may play havoc with our magnetic fields and any number of other things.

Or nothing could happen.

Only God knows, and that’s pretty much the point of this article.

ONLY God knows.

God bless and keep you all.

I have recently come across a group of folks on Twitter calling themselves the “Outlaw Preachers”. A rather interesting name, given the connotations of the word “outlaw”. But I’m coming to find out that the name fits.

For those who aren’t aware of this group, they are a collection of self-described preachers who are into taking a “new look” or have a “different take” on God, His Grand Plan, His Will, and His Messiah, and just about everything else about Christianity. As you might expect, they also seem to have a diminishing view of Sola Scriptura – the belief that God’s Revelation to Mankind is found in the Holy Bible alone and that it is our sole spiritual authority.

These “preachers” are the new stormtroopers on what has been rightly described by others in the actual Christian community as the “War on Evangelical Christianity”. They are aiding — and in some cases taking the lead — in the insidious attempt to morph traditional Christianity into Emergent Christianity – a faith that is to be nothing but collection of gray areas which allows one to fully explore their inner self and to see God in new and enlightening ways.

Because, you see, the Bible and traditional “Church” just isn’t doing it for these folks. Apparently, God taking the time to put His Words to parchment isn’t all that important in these modern times.

As you might expect, these new means of exploration rarely have a thing to do with the Christ of Holy Scripture, redemption, repentance of sins, Man’s fallen, craven nature, or the very real location known as Hell.

For the most part, the “outlaws” I have “twitted” with come across as arrogant, self-absorbed, instantly defensive, and in one particular case, terribly deficient in language comprehension. Below is a recent twitter conversation between myself and an individual calling themselves tragic_pizza:

My initial foray into the ecumenical wasteland – 2 Timothy 3:16-17 – Scripture is the Risen Christ’s revelation to ALL OF US. Read it, believe it, follow it. ALL OF IT #outlawpreachers

tragic_pizza’s reply – @j146 So you go to church on Saturday, do you? #outlawpreachers

@tragic_pizza No, I read the Bible and believe EVERY WORD GOD HAS SAID. I don’t just pick and choose Col 2:16 #outlawpreachers

t_p’s reply – @j146 If that’s true, you worship on Saturday, never eat pork or shellfish, never wear clothing of 2 different fabrics. I could go on…

@tragic_pizza Have U bothered to read the NT? We are free in Christ. #outlawpreachers not modern day prophets. God doesn’t change. Repent.

t_p’s reply – @j146 Oh! I see! Only ****some*** of the Bible is valid. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

@tragic_pizza Context. U seem to have issues w/ it. RU reading the replies? RU a Judaizer? Read Gal., Col. & Rom..1-liners prove nothing.

As you can clearly see, not much of these conversation really makes a lot of sense. But it actually serves tragic_pizza quite well. Notice how Mr/Mrs/Ms tragic_pizza never bothers to answer or address anything I’m twitting? He/she successfully avoids answering and instead is able to stay on the offense (the safe abode of the desperate or befuddled). It’s hard to answer questions when you spend all your time citing Moses!

Unfortunately, this is a pretty typical case. You could actually make a pretty solid argument that this person is not even reading the responses, and is, instead, just throwing out the tired old “Are you following the Laws of Moses” sideshow to deflect from the real truths.

For the record, Colossians 2:16 reads:

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:

That’s a pretty good explanation to tragic_pizza’s rather baffling response to my noting of 2 Timothy 3:16-17. But it is very telling at the same time. Why would one’s response to Scripture clearly defending Sola Scriptura incite such a response?

All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. — 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Because tragic_pizza, like most of these “outlaw preachers”, have to decimate The Holy Bible as the only Word of God and diminish — if not outright destroy — its sole authority to further their own agendas, perceptions, and doctrines. They desire to scratch as many itching ears as possible, all under the guise of God’s Love and Grace.

Now, in the interest of fairness, I don’t know if tragic_pizza is calling him or herself a preacher or not. I can only hope and pray they are not. I’ve met many others over the years who are always looking for ways to justify that which God has called sin. Almost to a person, they use the “Laws of Moses” defense when questioned or challenged.

I’m convinced most of these so-called preachers are not preachers at all. They’re just the latest in a long line of people who have no use for the actual Words of God, and are instead, more concerned with their own words, and in turn, the god they have crafted after their own image.

God bless and keep you all.

As we all know, atheism is the belief that there is no god, gods, or other deities. Despite what your run-of-the-mill atheist will tell you, they do have a faith, a religion. They believe there is no God and this is based solely on faith, because their precious science can’t prove it for them.

As defined at Dictionary.com, atheism is:

1. the doctrine or belief that there is no God.
2. disbelief in the existence of a supreme being or beings.

It’s an illogical belief, much more so than believing in God. How can one know there is no God for certain? You can’t. At best, people are agnostic, which is doubt in the existence of God.

But outright unbelief?

For starters, and let’s be honest here, spirituality is engrained in the human condition. All over the world, since the day mankind appeared (or evolved, if you hold to that theory), Man has had it. We worship something, be in the Christian God or something else. A vast majority do and have since the beginning of time.

So the case could be made that atheist are the ones with the “mind disorder”, as they clearly go against the vast majority of their own species. It takes a special kind of arrogance to claim that something nearly every person on Earth does is a “mind disorder”. Yet atheist bandy this term about as if they are right and anyone who believes in something higher than themselves is mentally deficient or damaged.

I say they have the mind disorder, and that will be my position from this moment forward. I encourage you to take the same position. Play their game – label someone else . . . the only difference is you have the Truth on your side.

Oh, I know the real reason they “don’t believe in God”. It’s a spiritual darkness, but you can’t tell them that, because they just deny it. Yeah, they deny it, despite overwhelming evidence that Mankind has always had this component in them. It crosses cultures, languages, societies, and distance. It is in us.

So who has the mental disorder? Hmmm . . . .

Atheism is about the dumbest, intellectually dishonest position one can take. To claim there is no God or that one doesn’t believe in a God without any proof of the fact is the very definition of delusion. Atheists delude themselves by holding this position.

I have the Bible, and millions upon millions of people throughout history who have believed as I have, so at least I am not deluding myself. I have very good reasons — including the all-important personal experience — to believe, trust, and follow the Christian God.

What does an atheist have?

Science, you say?

Come on. Don’t you think if evolution were really true, it could have been proven conclusively by now? Exactly how many decades will the charade go on that the evidence is out there if scientists just search long enough? Evolution is a theory, and a bad one at that. It reeks of desperation. Atheists have replaced the belief in a god with the belief in a man, namely Charles Darwin.

And evolution isn’t scientific fact, regardless of how many times that lied is tossed around. Don’t ever let someone tell you evolution is a fact. In fact, the deeper scientist get into understanding the sheer complexity of living organisms (even single-celled ones), some (at least the honest ones) come to realize that there is a design behind it all.

Atheists — despite all their hyperbole, big words, and for-show certainty — merely follow the tried-and-true political strategy that if you repeat a lie long enough it eventually becomes truth. So very sad.

So in the end, atheists are holding onto the theory of a mere man who lived in the 19th century in hopes that it turns out to eventually be proven true. It’s not true yet, after decade upon decade of desperately trying to make it so. But when it is made so (they believe), they can finally prove there is no God and shut up all of us “politically powerful” Christians. And rest assured, they will try to shut us up. Fascists tend to not like opposing views, especially when those views happen to be true.

We are also the enemy, because, you know, we want to force them to convert, make them repent and love a God they deny, and take away their ability to curse, sleep around, and smoke instead of actually debating or sounding intelligent.

And who is it exactly that has the “mind disorder”?

I believe the enemy has, for a very long time, deceived untold hundreds of millions about the very real location known to us as Hell. Today, many are living their lives under the false belief that “only bad people go to hell” or “I’m a good person, I help others and I believe there is a God, so I’m not going to hell”.

Deception.

Contrary to popular belief, hell is not a place reserved for only “bad” people. In fact, whether you wind up there or not isn’t affected at all by how “good” or “bad” you were in your life. Your final destination rests on one simple question – What is your relationship to the Messiah, to God’s Only Son, to the one who was broken and crushed by the Father for your iniquities?

Think about this . . . every single person who ends up in Hell will have just one thing in common. Do you know what that is? They will have all rejected Christ Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior during their mortal lives. That’s the only thing these poor souls will have to bind them together — their rejection of their only hope.

There are unrepentant murderers, thieves, rapists, molesters and other sadistic individuals in hell, that we know. But there are also housewives, and charity workers, and that neighbor down the street who always helped out when asked. That kind, older lady next door who handed out candy to children and was just the sweetest person you have ever known may well be there. Did she know Jesus?

That’s the only question to be answered in this life.

The point is – none of that matters. God is no respecter of person. We are all equal, and without Christ as our personal Lord and Savior we will stand on our own at Judgment Day. Our deeds are like filthy rags unto Him and His Absolutely Holiness.

In our world today, people treat Hell like a place of punishment but only for those who deserve (in their own minds) some kind of punishment for deeds done here on Earth. That’s a gross misrepresentation of what Hell is and why it is. Hell is a place where those who rejected Jesus as Lord and Savior are sent. Period. That’s the only reason anyone winds up there.

Good and bad, as concepts we understand, have no bearing on this journey. What we would perceive as the best, nicest, most gentle person on the face of Earth could wind up in Hell if they have never accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Being nice or kind or gentle or helpful will get you nowhere in the end. But society portrays Hell as a place for those who “aren’t good”. The end result is that millions believe they are “good enough” to not go to Hell when they die because they don’t steal or murder or rape.

But placing these sins in hierarchy in a distortion. Sin is sin to God, and He hates all of it! If you lie you are no better than a murderer or rapist. Sin is sin is sin. The punish for all sin is death, for God has so decreed.

And that is the great deception, because making some sins out as “worse” or “more worthy of punishment” than others minimizes or completely eliminates the need for Christ as our Savior. It makes Man’s deeds equal to the sacrifice of Jesus on our behalves. In the end, this view says you can “earn” your way out of Hell by not “being bad” and “acting good”. It makes Man responsible for his own deeds-based salvation. It gives Man some kind of holy power or control over his own judgment. It gives us the sense that we can plea bargain with God on Judgment Day.

So very foolish!

This view also hardens the heart, and makes people harder to reach with the Truth. It makes them unwilling to see or admit they are sinful and need a Savior. They can be good and not go to Hell, so why do they need to believe in some man who lived 2,000 years ago? It convinces them that those who proclaim that Jesus is the only way to Heaven are “fanatics” or “bigoted” or “narrow-minded”. God wouldn’t reveal Himself only to a tribal people in a remote part of the world and then condemn everyone else, they say. It promotes discrimination and a worldview that Christianity is misguided, too harsh, and that a “loving God would never punish people who were basically good at heart”.

One of the things I often here from atheists, agnostics, and other non-believers is that our God is capricious, because we say that good people go to Hell just like bad people. They often reply that if any God would send good people to some kind of eternal fiery torture, then they want no part of this so-called “God of Love and Mercy”.

You see? When Hell is viewed as a destination for “bad people”, everyone assumes they are good enough to not go there. It’s our nature. Very few people will actually think they are bad enough of a person to warrant being sent to Hell. And under that condition, why does anyone need to accept Jesus as Savior? They aren’t as bad as the person down the street, so what’s the point?

Yes, the enemy has done a wonderful job of using his final destination against the Truth of Jesus Christ.

God bless and keep you all.

I have recently observed a very depressing lesson about humanity and the sheer depravity of the human condition. When Our Father states that man is in enmity with Him, He is absolutely telling the truth.

I was just told by a self-described “former believer” (in Christianity) that they “didn’t choose” to not believe in God. It wasn’t their choice to deny Christ, you see. Of course, after a little correspondence, it is clear that to this person, “choice” has very little to do with anything. Homosexuality? That’s not a choice. Believing in God? Nope, not a choice, either.

I’m sure there are many other things this individual has no “choice” to believe in.

I am still stunned by the comment, and I only write this now in a vain attempt to make some kind of sense out of it. To be frank, it is the biggest single cop-out I have ever heard. And I’m sure they will say that “choice” is not as clear-cut as I believe it to be. Yet another cop-out, and frankly, I’m done with it. And this is going to be a rambling post, jumping all over the place, because I am still unable to get my head around someone not being able to choose to not believe in something.

So now atheism is genetic?

Don’t you find it funny how whenever you disagree with someone, they inevitably tell you that you “don’t understand” or you are “wrong” without anything to back it up? It’s just assumed you are wrong. Talk about arrogance! Their position is always that you are so misguided because you believe in God that you have to be told you are wrong and then you will come to see the great “light”.

I believe:

God is real

Jesus is God who became flesh and dwelt among Men so that we might be reconciled to The Father

The Bible is the total and complete Word of the Living God, inerrant in its original languages, and the only Book God has inspired

Those who don’t believe the Bible because an English translation is not perfect simply don’t want to believe, regardless of proof or evidence

Homosexuality is not a birthright, it is a choice

Abortion is murder

I can’t tell anyone they are going to hell – only God has the ability and moral right to judge the heart

Only God can change an individual’s heart

Man has no power to affect his own Salvation – it is a sovereign and miraculous work of Holy God

The Rapture of the Church is imminent

Israel is still the Apple of God’s Eye and has not been replaced by the Church

People can take one verse out of the Bible and think they have a point

Adultery, fornication, lying, stealing, cheating, drunkedness, and pride are all sins, and just as “bad” of one as homosexuality

All sins are equally vile in God’s eyes

I love the Lord. That’s simply it. If you don’t believe in Jesus, keep it to yourself. Really. I understand you believe that you have every reason in this corrupted world to not believe the Bible. I’m sure you sleep very well at night with this nugget of “knowledge”. That is your choice, and you choose to believe man over God every day you are alive. That act is a choice – your choice – and your responsibility.

I am not penning this blog to convert atheists into believers – there is more than enough evidence and proof out there for those who truly want to seek the True and Living God. I am writing this blog to express myself, as I live in a free country (for now), with freedom of speech guaranteed in the Constitution (f0r now). I am also writing this blog to tell everyone who has the eyes to read that time is running out. Soon the skies will be filled with the Glory of God. Soon the Trumpet of God shall sound and the world will change forever.

As a result, I do not need input from said atheists on how to improve my witness. If you think I’m wrong, kindly keep it to yourself. Or write your own blog. Or think about what happens when the candle that is your life is snuffed out after 60 or 70 years of burning. Do you really believe that is the end?

Nothing atheists, agnostics, heathens, blasphemers, or followers of false faiths say will ever convince me that my God is a lie or doesn’t exist. I don’t care if you think you have evidence. Just remember that fallible men are proclaiming this “evidence”, and many of them want to disprove the existence of a Creator. But go ahead and continue to eat the garbage they feed you. To accept evolution takes a whole lot more faith than believing God created it all.

Evolution is an insult to human intelligence.

I sleep very well at night.

God bless and keep you all.

One thing I hear a lot from unbelievers, particularly strong secular humanists and atheists, is that religion is for the weak-minded. An “opiate for the masses”. It is a “crutch” that people who are easily duped or too mentally weak to survive in the “real” world have created to feel better about themselves.

People of faith, particularly Christians, have a victim mentality of sorts, they tell me. We need to feel bad about ourselves, and acknowledging that makes us feel better about our own lives. All our talk about “humbling” ourselves before God and falling to our knees is, in reality, the worst kind of arrogance. By doing these things, we are declaring we are better than others, more pious, more religious, more “worthy”.

I’ve heard all of these arguments, each articulated from a position of supposed knowledge and “rationality” by those who think they are so clever.

I believe the One True God said it best:

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools — Romans 1:22

These are all 100% false assumptions, of course, gripped tightly by a lost world searching for ways to diminish or dilute the belief in God. If you can discredit the followers of a belief, then by default that belief is false. And unfortunately, too many Christians allow themselves to be portrayed in this way.

I am a good, moral person. I do not suffer from any severe or chronic lack of self-confidence. I am well adjusted, college educated, well liked by coworkers and peers, possess a good sense of humor, and genuinely care for the plight of others. I would say that if you judged everyone’s heart and compassion on the planet, I would fair better than most. The point is, I am not a person who believes in God because of any personality defects, shortcomings, or pitfalls.

I believe because I have been given proof. I have sought after God with an open heart and He revealed Himself to me. No, not as a burning bush or with a noble voice (although that would be extremely cool!), but He has revealed Himself to me in ways that are very personal and special to me.

And there are many in the Faith exactly like me.

The issue is that despite all of my own preceived goodness, morality, and fairness in this life, everything we do on our own and in our own flesh is as filthy rags to a Holy God:

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. — Isaiah 64:6

While the above verse is certain to sound harsh to those who don’t want to believe, the fact remains that to God, everything us mere humans do is worthless. Who are we to Almighty God? We are His Creation, not His equal. We are not even close. In reality, we are mere specks of life in a vast universe.

The problem today is one of arrogance, pride, and disrespect. Only a truly prideful, arrogant person would dare to compare themselves to God! Today, atheists have declared “There is no God” and by doing so, they are propping themselves up as God. They rely on themselves, their own good works, their own morality, their own judgment, their own intellect. They will also claim that they have their judgment, morality and intellect solely by a random roll of the cosmic dice. Morality was awarded to humans on Earth on a roll of 6 on a 1d6!

If you break it down, it really is that preposterous.

Marooned in this belief, they will have to answer for their own sins.

In the end, it all comes down to faith. It is not weak-mindedness to believe in God. I acknowledge fully that God is greater than I am. Does that make me a weak person? If you just said yes, then why? Have you ever admitted that something is beyond your ability to overcome or control? Trigonometry? Quantum Physics? Anything you’ve never been able to understand? We all have something that we can’t understand, and we have no problems admitting it.

And the very fact that you claim no belief in God is: 1) FAITH and 2) PREPOSTEROUS.

To know there is no God would make you God, because you would know everything. So this knowledge would actually render your own belief system even more ridiculous than it already is.

So what’s different here?

It’s God. You don’t want to believe in God because that would mean you will answer to someone. You are responsible to a power greater than yourself. It is prideful to think you are in total control of your life. I have no problem putting my faith into a God who – if even you debate exists – would be infinitely greater than I am.

So am I wasting my time? I don’t think so. You can disagree with me all day long, but please don’t assume that because I believe in God that I am somehow weak mentally, or in search of some way to make my own walk on this planet more comfortable. Our Lord tells us repeatedly that life will not be comfortable and that believing and trusting in Him is a sure way to make it a little more uncomfortable.

God bless and keep you all.

With all the recent happenings in the United States surrounding “gay rights” and “gay marriage”, I wanted to express my own feelings on this issue. I have some very strong feelings about this one, as I’m sure a lot of folks do. Let me state my position unequivocally so that everyone understands where I am coming from.

Homosexuality is not a birthright, it is a choice

Homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of God

Homosexuality is unnatural and defies the core essentials of nature as man understands it

Homosexuality is a defilement of marriage, as God has defined it

Ok, now that my position is clear, let me go through each of my above points more thoroughly.

1. Homosexuality is not a birthright, it’s a choice. There is a very simple and logical reason this is true, and if you sincerely consider this, all will be made clear. I get so tired of hearing the homosexual groups and lobbies cry “Why would we choose to do something that causes us to be hated and discriminated against?”. The question is a strawman. People choose destructive and anti-social behaviors all the time. That defense is not a defense in any sense, it’s just a way to deflect the argument. People choose to cheat on their spouse, experiment with drugs, and many other things all the time . . . and they know the consequences, they just think they can avoid them.

But that’s not my main point. Here it is: If anyone on Earth has the same opporunity or abilty to do or perform something, it simply can’t be a birthright. Simply put, since I can go out tomorrow and have a homosexual encounter were I to chose to, there is nothing in this behavior (homosexuality) that cries out it is unique or genetically linked.

I could wake up tomorrow and decide to have sex with a man . . . I cannot – repeat cannot – wake up tomorrow and decide to be Asian or Black, for example, or become seven feet tall, or have my eyes truly change from blue to green or brown. One’s ethnicity is a birthright, who one chooses to have sexual relations with is not. If anyone on earth can do it, you can’t claim it as a birthright. Period. Homosexuality is a choice, a decision to indulge a temptation.

Other than choice of sexual partner, there is not one thing a gay male does any differently than a straight male. Both eat food, shave, wear clothes, watch television, breath, have hobbies, have jobs, exercise, have friends, and the list could go on and on.

And let’s remember – one does not need to have sex to survive. The very act of sex is a choice (and please, no remarks about rape – my point is obvious to anyone with the ability to reason). Both gay and straight individuals go could the rest of their lives without having sex and be alright. To make sexual preference out to be a major aspect of one’s entire person is simply a means homosexual groups use to promote their agenda. It’s not a matter of life and death to have sex. It’s fun, sure, but not a requirement for survival, like, say, food or breathable air.

2. Homosexuality is an Abomination in the Eyes of God. This one is clear to anyone who reads the Bible, but apparently some so-called “Evangelicals” aren’t reading their Bibles (nod to our Glorious Leader on that one). Seriously, anyone – even those who hate Christians or don’t believe a word of Scripture – if they were honest about it – would admit that the God of the Bible is clearly against homosexuality. Both Old and New Testament are clear. I am not going to list the related Scriptures, but I encourage anyone who is wondering to look it up for yourself.

3. Homosexuality is unnatural and defies the core essentials of nature as man understands it. I like to take God completely out of this discussion because I feel it strengths my argument and removes the “I don’t believe in the Christian God” or “My God wouldn’t condemn me for this” excuses.

My first point is to ask, What is the natural process for mammals to reproduce? What is the process? Nature replenishes itself, in the animal kingdom, by the sperm uniting with the egg. It is simple fact that two homosexuals “uniting” cannot do this, and, more importantly, they never have any chance of doing it. Sure, there are heterosexual couples who can’t have children, but they are the exception, not the norm. With homosexuality, it is the opposite. Science clearly will show you that in exactly 100% of all homosexual couples, there is an exactly 0% chance of them naturally procreating.

So if you buy into the “Theory of Evolution” you are left with a gigantic question mark about why homosexuality would have even arisen naturally. It’s a genetic and evolutionary dead-end. Nothing of merit can be passed on. It produces nothing of value for future generations, in fact, it prevents future generations at all. And by the very definition of the evolutionary theory, homosexual should have died out as such a dead-end. Survival of the fittest, as it were. Natural selection.

The whole thing is preposterous to me, honestly. How anyone can even defend the “homosexuality is natural” position is really beyond my desire to understand. Even taking the “Christian God” out of the equation, you still have supposedly “true” evolution defying the very existence of this behavior.

4. Homosexuality is a defilement of marriage as God has defined it. We are seeing this today, as the attack is now in full force to legitimize homosexuality by allowing such couples to marry in the traditional sense. Homosexual behavior is the very antithesis of marriage. God created the institution of marriage very early on in man’s journey here on Earth. It is the very cornerstone of a functional, viable society.

Fabrics such as marriage are essential, and homosexuals know this . . . why else are they demanding to be included? A “natural” homosexual marriage is eternally childless, and damaging physically to both spouses. Sexual intercourse between a man and a woman is the very definition of natural – so natural in fact that a man’s and woman’s sexual organs happen to compliment each other perfectly. In other words, the primary reason for a penis or vagina is to use with other gender’s sexual organ.

Anyone should be able to admit that with even the smallest assembly of common sense. I am not going to get into the particulars of homosexual encounters, but it is far from normal and the parts do not naturally fit together.

I know parts of this have been somewhat crude, but the truth is simply the truth. People will do anything and say anything to justify their own behaviors. That’s what homosexuality is, a behavior. An indulgence of a temptation. It is not a birthright. Anyone could choose to do it – me, you, my wife, anyone could have this experience tomorrow with a simple choice.

Now the good news.

Homosexuality is no greater a sin than lying, stealing, adultery, or worshipping false idols. They are all equal in God’s sight. And as they are all equal, homosexuality is just as forgiveable as any other sin. Being a homosexual does not condemn you to hell. Refusing to surrender this sin to Jesus and continuing on in it is what condemns one to hell, as it does with any other sin. Believe it or not, there are many, many people who have been delivered from this sin and now live happy, healthy heterosexual lives.

I believe homosexuality is a temptation like any other. My temptation is pornography, with others it is lying, or stealing, or drinking too much. They are all sins, but they are all forgiveable with God. And God can and will deliver you from them. I have personally never met a 60 year old homosexual who is happy . . . same goes for a 60-year-old drunkard, porn addict, or thief.

Sin wears on you. It eats away at you. It takes the joy out of you.

Jesus is waiting to forgive you, cleanse you, and give you His Strength to make you whole. All you need to do is ask, repent, and turn from your sins. Regardless of where you are in your life, Jesus is just outside the door. All it takes is for you to call out. I pray that you do.

God bless and keep you all.

With the recent passing of what seems to be so many celebrities, it should give one pause. Death comes to everyone. Money, power, influence, fame, accolades, love, good works, secret lives, adoring fans – nothing can save you from your fate. In the end, it will be just you and Your Creator.

As the old saying goes, “Surveys show that 10 out of 10 people die”. We are all going to die. Tonight, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, Michael Jackson, and many others have discovered that fact.

And each one of them is one of two places – they are either in the loving embrace of Eternal God or they are not . . . and never will be.

Depending on the present condition of your soul, that can be a very scary thought. For those of us who put our full faith and trust in a Risen Savior, death or the promise of it has no sting, no power over us. I do not fear death. If I should “die before I wake” the Lord will indeed keep my soul. My last breath here is my first breath with my Savior.

For those who haven’t, who don’t believe in Christ, who would rather ridicule and belittle than humble themselves before God, or who follow false faiths, religions and philosophies, they are but a heartbeat away from a stark, terrifying realization. They are but a split-second from coming to understand they have gambled and lost.

In the end, that’s each person’s story. Either one comes to the Truth that is found only in Christ and the Holy Bible (a happy ending, indeed!), or one doesn’t (the saddest ending imaginable!).

It doesn’t matter if you don’t believe it, have a million reasons to “rationalize” your unbelief, or if you honestly intent to “get right with God” on your deathbed or when you “get older”.

All that matters is this moment.

God only knows what the fates of the celebrities who have recently passed actually is. But it is a fate and a judgment that each has richly earned, one way or the other, just remember that. We are all earning our just rewards every moment of every day. That is why Christ is so vitally important. We are all sinners, and the penalty for sin is death. Christ paid our penalties, so if we put our trust in Him and Him alone, then we have died already and are covered by His Sacrifice.

Hallelujah!

If you do not know the Lord Christ Jesus, I urge you to pick up a Bible and start reading. Or visit your local church. Or talk to that Christian person you know in your class or at your workplace.
God bless and keep you all.
